Spanish Paella

A low fat, easy to make version of the tasty Spanish dish.

  • Olive oil 1 Tbsp
  • Onion 1 Chopped
  • Paprika 1 Tsp
  • Paella rice 300g
  • Tomatoes, chopped 400g Can
  • Chicken stock 900ml
  • Prawns 200g
  • Lemon juice and wedges 100g
  • Parsely Handful
  • Garlic 2 Cloves
  • Black Pepper 1 Tsp
  • Chicken breast 2
  • Garlic Powder 2 Tsp
  • Frozen peas 100g
  • Chicken stock cube 1
  • Red pepper 1


  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the onion, paprika, thyme, parsley and rice and fry for 1-2 minutes consistently stirring.
  2. Add the tomatoes, stock and seasoning then cook for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Stir in the seafood and simmer for five minutes, squeeze the lemon over it. Serve with lemon wedges and sprinkle with parsley.
